Teams – Sentimental feat. Indigo Bunting

young kansas city producer/sound sculptor/seapunk indigo bunting, has been increasingly impressing me with his productions since that lady gaga juke rework. now he’s collaborated with l.a. fucked-funk wonderkid teams, and using glowing textures and clipped/pitched robin thicke vocals, they’ve created my favorite track right of the moment. i’m into vox that are chopped beyond the point of discernable words — little breaths, tics, and fragments in between, stripped of everything but their emotional qualities. in this track, the effect is pretty sublime. i could stay in this zone for quite a while.
