visual artist andreas fischer / dat dat dat of the visual artist group chop chop from berlin brings otherworldly cg animation from the depths of his mind. its from within this creative abyss he is able to create stunning imagery the likes of which we rarely see. the simplicity of his animated short “palantine” is able to speak volumes with its smooth cgi mountainscapes reflecting off the back of chrome skulls floating as if there were no gravity, creating such a sparse and beautiful netherworld. we discovered this optical mastermind upon watching the animated video he created for egyptrixx. yet another artist putting out captivating material from the label night slugs.
